In the works is an all new demo. Gone are the days of recording only in the mono format and now Umbilical is totally in stereo and a good chunk more intricate in sound as compared our earlier efforts. The following tracks are finished and/or in the works:

    • ASCII - This is one of the first tracks we have recorded together as a cohesive unit in about 3 months. It's probably our most dancable track to date (?) and has five remixes completed to acompany it. (binary data feed mix, wintermute mix, artificial mix, broken technology mix, and synthetic mix)

    • The Whimper Of Whipped Dogs - Still in the construction stages, this song is the first umbilical has done in stereo format. It's a very grueling, noisy, harsh piece of music but also at least imho a very thought provoking statement about the lack of human rights all over the planet.

    • Reprise (final exchange) - This is what I (seth) have intended to be the final song on our new demo. I don't know how the others will percieve it. It's very ambient, very warm sounding. No percusion, just enveloping waves of sound. It's sort of a look into the horror that would be a full scale nuclear exchange.
