(No offense, children) Things are going well out here in LA, in fact, I have formed a new band. We are called schlirv. We've been playing clubs in Pasadena, Santa Monica, Downtown LA, nd a little run-down joint in Compton called the Squealing Cat. We only played the Compton place once, because it wasn't exactly what you would call... friendly. I hope no one minds, but we've mostly been playing stuff from the old slerv CD. We have got en a lot of attention, and last week we got an offer from Capitol Records. They are nice. You should meet them sometime. Anyway, we (schlirv) signed a four CD contract and we start recording the first one in early February. I will keep everyone notifi d, and if things work out, you will see us on Mtv in a year and a half. Like I said, things are going well out here in LA. I hope evryone knows that everything above this sentence is complete and total hogwash and fibbery. I have no new band, and no new record contract. In fact, I am miserable because I haven't been able to jam with slerv all semester, and it's beginni g to have an effect on my grades.
