Hello! My name is Dan. This Station is dedicated to the advancement of musical appreciation (Yes, even country if you consider that music). LESSONS IN THEORY AND IMPROVISATION, MIDI FILES and more are offered here. If you are looking for words and music or midi files to certain songs, email your requests and if I don't have it, I'll find it and email it back to you. If you are interested in theory and improvisation, let me know and I will contact you via email and tailor your lessons to your special needs. Email lessons offer many pluses. Much less expensive than traditional lessons. Study in your own home at your own convenience. No teachers with bad breath to contend with. No teachers to smack your fingers with a ruler when you make a mistake. Tailored lessons so you don't have to sort through all the info you're not interested in or already know. For instance, would you like an easy formula to remember your chords (major, minor, 7th, and so on)Would you like to know what scales are and how to use them for adlib. Learn the simple pentatonics which are the building blocks of improvisational skills. Each pentatonic scale has only 5 notes each but used effectively can produce great sounding leads and fill patterns. Email me and let me know!
