My Fan Letter to Michael T. Weiss

        July 31, 1997

        Dear Michael,

I think it has been about 20 years since I wrote a fan letter to anyone - especially since I've spent the past 3-1/2 years working in film production. I think the last time was Horshack from "Welcome Back Kotter!" I know what can happen to the multitudes of mail coming to a production company or a fan club. However, I decided to drop you a note on the offset chance that your mail is actually forwarded to you - or you have an assistant to deal with it - (And if you don't have an assistant, I'm looking for a new job, and I'm more than qualified. It's what I've been doing for the past ten years!)

I'm glad "The Pretender" is back for another season. I'm hoping your public relations people will be doing a huge media blitz soon, so we can see your charming face on another round of talk shows and in all the glossy magazines. (I was very intriqued by a comment you made on the Rosie O'Donnell Show - something about "Exit To Eden" being important to you during your "formative years" ?? - Was I the only person who caught that? Rosie just skipped right over it!) Hopefully, we'll get to see some more film work soon too. You were great in "Jeffrey."

Take care - good luck with those grueling days it takes to shoot an hour long television show.

        Sincerely,

        MORE MICHAEL T. WEISS!

Something only for those of you who aren't easily offended!
