blue (blue-grey) eyes, ...My name is Matevz Hribernik. Currently living in a small village called Dovje in Slovenia, Europe. Visit Slovenia homepage, if u don't know where that is (you won't find Dovje on a map! But it is about 10km away from Kranjska Gora in NW part of Slovenia). I was born in a town called Kranj, at about 23:00h on 16th of September in year 1973. Successfully finished primary and high school in Jesenice (mostly with A and B, in later years mostly C),. So i came on University of Ljubljana in 1992, where i studied economics, my major was Marketing. I graduated in february 1999, with thesis Problems of ethics in marketing research. Today, i'm working in marketing, in Institute for promotion of youth mobility (Movit). I have also applied at my university to study for master degree in marketing. What i'm going to do next??? Don't know. Ask me tommorow!
You will see me on Slovenian country roads speeding with my mountain
bike (my record is 96 km/h on a very steep long straight, kids don't try that yourself, i
am a professional madman. WHAT??? O.k. just a bit crazy. But i also go uphill, and that
takes strength). I've also tried several bicycle marathons... You'll also see me rushing
down ski-slopes, usually on snowboard, sometimes also with my skis (well if the steepnes is right!!).
Of course off piste snowboarding and skiing is my major thrill (i love mountains when they
are covered with snow) then i also play tennis (maybe not play, i broke two tennis rackets
last year - i am probably too strong for that game), then i play beach-volley ... Infact i
like all sports (there are just some exceptions - soccer, ice hockey and those stupid
contact sports (like judo, boxing, karate) i hate. U can see me also skydiving, roller
skating... Some of my sport pics... 
Something
else??? I am big fan of music!!! All kind. But i can't stand rave and
techno, and those boyzie groups. Phew. Cause those computer made beats can make every
(computer-not music) enthusiast. My favorite group??? Don't have it. I like listening
everything, and music i listen depends on my feelings. But i must say that real groups and
performers, who made many followers are: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Rolling
Stones (they really rock on concert!!!), Dire Straits, Nirvana (Smells like teen
spirit RULES!!!), Red Hot Chilly Peppers, U2, Elvis Presley, The Cure, Amanda
Marshall, Brazilian music (Terrasamba for example)... Those are just a few from
many... And of course ex-yu performers; Balašević, Plavi orkestar, Zabranjeno Pušenje,
... And music from movies; Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Desperado, Braveheart, ... Click on

Next??? I like movies. But not usually those with big
production high costs. I like those with good story and scripts, good actors, not usually
with high tech special effects. For instance my vote for oscar would be PULP FICTION (sorry Forest Gump, you are
also good, but not good enough), then Trainspotting
(drugs in Scotland) and Shallow Grave, Night on Earth (Jim Jarmousch, you are one of
the best), Blade Runner and of
course True
Romance, Natural Born
Killers and Jackie Brown. My top ten list includes such movies as Legends of the fall,
Star wars, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Fifth Element, ... And movies from Serbia (frm. YU),
Ko to tamo pjeva (Who sings over there), Maratonci trce poslednji krug, Tito i ja, .... I
shouldn't forget Monty Python,... and italian movies; Mediterraneo, Cinema Paradiso and Il
Postino... Could have talked about movies for hours... I must mention a movie that i saw
very recently: The Big Lebowski... GREAT MOVIE!!!!

Me and Computers. My first computer was C-64, i got it way back in 1984. I really liked the games (especially Winter Games and Olympic skier). I tried to learn programming, but that was not my destiny. So i changed to Amiga 500 in 1990, A2000 two years later and then in '93 to A1200. That was really good computer. Great sound, graphics, HD, Indy heat game... In year 1994 i bought my first PC - with AMD 66 processor... I started playing on computer less and less... Then P100, 1 Mb graphics card, 32 Mb Ram, 2.1 Gb of HD. That configuration survived for 5 years (!!!). Today i proudly own Pentium Celeron 300 (overclocking to 450 Mhz), Matrox Millenium G200, 64 Mb ram, ... I forgot, my first contact to Internet was back in 1993, i got my first email account in fall '95, and in July '96 i logged to Internet from my home. Cable modem enables fast acess to internet nowadays!

around Europe - not enough, i especially liked London in Europe.

And someday to visit Australia and New Zeland, China, Madagascar, Rapa Nui

And??? Eating (love goes through my stomach -
i love italian food), everything that young people do (going out and everything thats
left)...
