My Ear Pierces

These are my ear pierces. They are both in my left ear. The one closer to the front is my tragus, and was done by Anne Greenblatt In November 1994. This was a real big step for me, as it was my first visible pierce. I also was seeing my mother for the first time in a few years the next day, so this would *obviously* be the first thing she noticed about me. Luckily, it didn't go too bad.

The one further back is my daith, and it was done in January 1995 by Adam at Venus Modern Bodyart in New York City (Unfortunately, he isn't there anymore) I'd only ever seen a daith once before, on Joe J.,my original piercer, and he told me that his took forever to heal, so I was scared off. But then, I heard a few really good stories about Venus and people getting daiths done there, so I decided that on my next trip down to NYC to buy bootlegs, I'd get it done. I made a appointment with Maria at Venus, but she didn't show up for it (BAD sign), so Adam did it, and it was great anyway. It healed up extremely quickly. (about 6 weeks) I love it simply because it makes people look twice and ask "does that go THROUGH your ear?"

I think that the next step is doing the anti-tragus in this ear, (I already have the barbell, from my Ex's failed horizontal hood. Any good anti-tragus stories, anyone?) then I'll stop and go on to the other ear..

In case you didn't guess, Yes, I did try to match all my jewelry to the same shade of green beads.
