Veruca Salt/Local H/Fig Dish

We left around 6:45 p.m. Got there at 8:00p.m. We went in around 8:15. Walked around the place and found a spot to stand. We were standing on the left side of stage, against these wooden black boxes. Fig Dish was first to go on. There a guy dressed up in a Bunny suit and he would come out and exchange their guitars. He danced around too. It was funny. I never actually heard their music before but Fig Dish were pretty good. About a half hour later Local H came on. They opened with "Hi-Fiving Mother Fucker", last time we saw them they ended with that song. There were alot of people crowd surfing. All the staff members that had moved up front were pushing and throwing the crowd surfers back to where they came from. I saw one guy/girl go flying. The songs I can remember them playing were: "Eddie Vedder", "Bag Of Hammers", "Sports Bar", "Back In The Day", "Bound For The Floor", " I Saw What You Did", "Manifest Density", "Nothing Special", they ended with "Fritz's Corner". They also played a new song the only lyrics I remember are "Oh Yeah!, All Right, oh yeah, all right". They ROCKED!!! I didn't take any pictures of them this time, because my sister didn't want me to take 27 pictures of Local-H again. I would have taken some pictures anyway, but then I would have to listen to her complain. We really weren't in a good spot to take pictures. For 1 reason, the staff/security were standing in the area in front of us. 2 reason we were on the side of the stage, looking at peoples side. I did plan on moving to the middle during Veruca Salt but when they came on more people were moving over there and moshing and crowd surfing, which cause more staff/security guys to move up front.

Veruca Salt opened with "Straight". I don't remember the order of any of the other songs and probably am gonna leave out some. But I'll give it a try. I know they played "Benjamin", "With David Bowie", "Earthcrosser" (my fave), "Awesome", "Seether", "Spiderman". I think they did "Don't Make Me Prove It", "Sound of the Bell", "One Last Time", "Victrola", I know they did more off of "American Thighs", not sure which songs though. They ended with "Volcano Girls" and then they came back out couple minutes later and played "Shutterbug". During Seether that guy in the bunny suit sang on one part. Scott and Joe were watching VS set, in the area in front of us. I think Gabe was there too.

During one of the songs, Louise got on Joe's shoulders and were walking around in the area in front of us. I took a picture but I couldn't use the flash so it didn't come out. :( I couldn't use the flash because earlier in their set, I was on picture 18 and when I snapped the picture I didn't see the guy that was looking my way and he came over and I handed him my camera.

I had a feeling I would get caught cause of where we were. It was no big deal. The next song the guy that took it away came over to me and gave my camera back(it was only a disposable anyway) and said that I could take picture but with out the flash. I knew the picture would not come out that great with out the flash. Oh yeah some guy that was standing behind me was holding up homemade sign that caused Scott to come and stand in front of us and read it. I don't know what it said though. He thought it was funny.

After the show we went out a side door. We saw a tour bus and it had a Local H sticker on it. We thought why would they put their stickers on their bus, this can't be theirs. We waited there awhile. Then we split into 2's and one group walked around front to the other bus and we stayed at this one. I'm pretty sure that was Local H's bus. I walked around out front cause they were calling us.

They said that Stacy and Steve were just there. When I got down there they had gone on the bus. I met Stacy when he used to drum for Letters To Cleo (love them) he was nice. The roadies were loading up a Rider truck with VS's equipment. Everyone that was waiting was behind the wooden barriers. Nina came out first, she greeted her fans and signed stuff. We were kind of at the end of line or what ever. She came over to us. She signed our ticket stubs. I brought along my cover for "American Thigh" (just cause it white) and she signed that. Jen asked if she could have a picture with her and I took the picture. Some guy showed her a "Blow It Out Your Ass..." record. And she was amazed by it and goes "Wow, I never seen one of these before" and I think she signed it. About 5-10 minutes later Louise came out. She greeted and signed stuff for people. She also signed my cd cover. And Jen told her that she loves how she screams and she came here only to hear her scream. and Louise goes really wow.. On Jen's ticket stub she wrote " I came and I Screamed" and signed it. Then she said that should be a song "I came and I screamed". Some guy had another home made sign and I think she asked if she could have and she said she loves those things. I'm not sure what it said though. Jen asked if she could take a picture with her. So I took a picture. We thanked them. I only had 2 pictures left after the show. So I didn't get in any of the pictures. They were both really cool and nice. I was facing the other way and Jen kept saying "hey there's Joe, Amy there's Joe" everytime she said his name he looked over. I turned around and said hi and asked if he would sign an old set list from March that I brought with me. he said that they would be back in October. Jen asked him if Scott was still around. He told us he was in a bar. We thanked him and left. I didn't realize how late it was. When we got back in MA it was 3:30 a.m. I got home at 4:00 a.m. The show ROCKED!!!!
