Her cries came no more
To my ears in the night
Her sweet voice forever quiet
Out of my arms, out of my sight

Her smile lit up my heart
Shining eyes so full of life
Blonde curls that tickled my face
Won't tickle me tonight

She was all that I was
My heart, my soul
An unspeakable bond
An unbreakable hold
She was all that I loved
My promise, my hope
I'm lost without her smile
Just don't know how I'll cope

And now....
I swear I can hear 
In the whisper of the trees
The voice of my angel
Calling out to me....

"Hello from Heaven,"
The voice whispers to me
"It's me, the one you lost,
Your beloved baby..."

"Don't cry anymore,"
She lovingly pleads,
"To your heart and soul
I bring you peace
Put your sorrow to rest
For my spirit is free
Know I'll always be with you,
I'm your beloved baby...."

And the voice disappears 
With the wind in the trees
And my heart is lighter
As if it had wings

A hello from Heaven
A sound so silky sweet
Wrapped around my heart
And comforted me

She was torn from my life
Without a word, so unfairly
But in God's arms she'll be held
So maybe I'll survive....just barely.
