History of Dangerous Hours

Part IV: Top 5% and The Future

In September 1997 I received the great honor of being placed in the Top 5% of websites by the Lycos Search engine.  This company wrote a great review about my page and gave it a 93 out of 100 ranking.  This beat out the Official Page and lost to the Tripping Billies site by only one point.  I was very proud that my hard work had been noticed.

This site was also placed on now extinct UnfURLed Ulimate Artist Page set up by MTV and YAHOO.  I was given a great rating, even though the guy didn't like my frames page...which was one of the reasons I changed the format.  This page also directly links to my exclusive features: DMB Trivia, Mission: FIND DMB, and the Missing Lyric Game.

Here's an update (December 2000). This last year I have added a new front page, Guess the Set, and the DMB Motion Picture Casting special. I will try to keep the page new and fresh even though I don't have as much time to update it as I used to.

I want to thank all of the great visitors that have been to my site over the last year and especially those who have taken the time to send an e-mail to say you enjoyed the site.  I am being sincere when I say that I read everyone and appreciate anything you have to say.  I also want to thank the people who have sent me e-mails telling me mistakes with my site, and how they think I could improve it.  This is the best way for me to know what changes need to be made.  I am always trying to make Dangerous Hours better, in any way I can.

Some of you out there may think, "this guy has no life, all he does is mess around with his homepage."  Well this is really not true.  It is just a hobby and not an obesession.  Sometimes I am borderline obsessive when it comes to listening to too much DMB, but let's not go there.

Anyway, that about concludes the History of Dangerous Hours. Any of you who have actually read all of this boring stuff about the site, I commend you...Thanks again and keep visiting Dangerous Hours, your backstage pass to the Dave Matthews Band.
