Opposite Day's Old Tape Records Bio:
Opposite Day (formerly Super Audio Foood, Blunderbuss and, before that, Wafer Thin) has existed in various forms since 1993. The main core of the band has always been guitarist/songwriter/vocalist Adam MacKinnon. Adam has made several tapes, one including the infamous "Eddie Haskell's Diary" under the band name The Three Legged Dogs (after Adam's dog Ducky, who actually has three legs). The band changed their name after they learned there was another band called Three Legged Dog. Other names for the band have included The Fun Explosive and Filter Queen (they changed the latter because it sounded too much like a cross between Filter and Queen, although the name came from Adam's mom's vacuum cleaner). Most recently, Opposite Day has been made up of Adam and his guitar. Twenty and One Half Miles, the band's only studio cassette to date, was released through Tape Records in the fall of 1995.
