THE NEW ALBUM

Here's the official track listing of Oasis' third album, Be Here Now.
1. D'You Know What I Mean?: The first single off the album, this track is almost 7 and a half minutes long and has a structure similar to "Champagne Supernova". Noel says that the drum loop on this song was taken from N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" record. It is one of the four tracks to be played live before the album's release.
2. My Big Mouth: Another of the four tracks from this album to be played live before it's release. This track is a heavy Noel-Rock song.
3. Magic Pie: This is the only track on the album that Noel sings. His voice sounds a bit distorted and fuzzy on it.
4. Stand By Me: This track is the most likely contender for the next single and is a ballady type song.
5. I Hope, I Think, I Know: This is a poppy rock song in the same vein as "Step Out". Noel has said that it will be the one off the album that nobody mentions.
6. The Girl in the Dirty Shirt: This song was written for Meg before the couple got serious. Apparently, before a show, Noel walked in on Meg ironing a dirty shirt because it was the only one she had at the time.
7. Fade In/Out: This track is a heavy rocker that features actor Johhny Depp on Slide Guitar.
8. Don't Go Away: This is another ballady track that was written for Noel's mom when he thought she had cancer.
9. Be Here Now: Another track to be played live before the albums release, this track is a rocker in the same vein as "Morning Glory". Apparently, it is also the name of a George Harrison solo record.
10. All Around the World: The one referred to as "The Big One" off this album, this song is all of 9 minutes long. Noel wrote this one before Oasis was signed to Creation Records. It was kept "hidden" for so long because they wanted to wait until they had enough money to get a 36-piece orchestra to use on it.
11. It's Getting Better Man: The other song to be played life before the album's release, IGBM is another Noel-Rock song. Very catchy.
12. All Around the World (reprise): An instrumental reprise of AATW that is about 2 and a half minuutes long. After it's over, footsteps are heard and a door closes. Symbolic of something? Maybe.
Other Stuff
The album is about 72 minutes long and was recorded at: Abbey Road, Ridge
Farm, Air Studios, Master Rock, and Orinoco.
Noel says that the sound of this album would probably make it fit in between Oasis' other 2 albums. He also says that all three albums are part of a "box-set" in his mind. Possibly meaning that Oasis' music after this will be noticably different.
