December 18, 1998-
Plan 13 have a show booked at the ST. JOHN'S CULING CLUB for Wednesday December 23rd. Also playing will be Ched, Molotov Smile, Bud, Life of Leisure, and Mute. Its $5 at the door and its all ages. Doors open at 5:30, bands start at around 6:30.
The compilation Plan 13 are featured on has been delayed yet again (the cd release and the show to kick it off) because Richard Fisher has a LOT to learn about booking shows... enough said about that... except that now we've been told that the new teneative date is January 2nd or 3rd at the Corner Stone Theatre, but that remains to be seen.
Also, Our bass player, once known to the world as Dave Insecurity, has gotten a new name. So if you see him around, he now prefers to be addressed as Squid Suspicious. Squid is the Man.
Also, a new much sharper webpage is in the works and should be done in january, it is being put together by the great Mike Rizkalla of BucketTruck fame. A big thanks to Mike.
Plan 13 have written several new songs, none of which are on the songs/lyrics page because im too lazy to type it all out... but some of it is very hardcore and has been known to make peoples heads explode. Plan 13 are also scheduled to go into the studio some more between christmas and new years', so look for a release soon.
Also, Plan 13's fledgling record label and distro, PLANET X, who have made the investment for the show on the 23rd, also have Plan 13 t-shirts and embroidered patches avalable for sale. E-mail us if you want info on any of that merchendise.

Plan 13 recorded a track for an upcoming yet-to-be-titled compilation, being put together by Richard Fisher. The cd will be coming out in a few weeks and will also contain tracks from Bucket Truck, Hung Up, Ched, Lizband, Mute, and several others. Plan 13 recorded the track "Seeing Stars", and plan to go to the studio to do an EP sometime in January if funds can be collected for the venture. Also, there is talk of 2 shows upcoming, one at the Curling Club which is going to be All Ages, and a cd release party for the compilation which apparently is going to be a bar show.
