NEWS 2/27/99: It looks like we are going to record the new cd, "Color of Old Memory" the 2nd week in April. That means if all goes well it will be out by late May.
NEWS 11/23/98: We have been working on the new songs for our upcoming full length cd. We have 8 songs finished so far. The cd is going be called "Color of Old Memory". Hopefully it will be out by February 99. We will have full color posters for it soon.
NEWS 8/25/98: We need a 2nd guitarist! Matt(drums) and Dan(guitar) have left the band. They both said they just lost interest in it. If you want to try out please email us at pindrop1@ix.netcom.com. We are looking for people within an hour or so driving distance from Worcester, MA. You should have decent equipment and be ready to learn a full set worth of songs, fast. You also should be willing to take time off from work or school to tour and play shows. As soon as we brake in the new members we are going to finish writing a new full length cd and start playing a ton of shows.
Holdstrong formed in the Spring of 1993, and since then have been putting out intense metal influenced hardcore. Through the years we've changed a few members. Currently available on Pin Drop Records and distributed through Lumberjack, Very, Choke, Revelation, Goodlife, RPP, Lifeforce, Life Sentence and many others nationwide and abroad, we have the Gaining Ground seven inch, Nothing In Return CD, and our newest Pursuit In The Face Of Misfortune seven inch. We also have a few songs on some obscure compilations. The players are Erik Paulsen on drums, Bill Cole on guitar, Chris Berthiaume on vocals, and Desmond Connolly on bass.
