I'm in Love
-REVIEW~BEST OF GLAY broke a record, didn't it?
TAKURO: After that, B'z broke our record quickly.
JIRO: It's like us.
TA: I asked B'z's Matsumoto, "How did you feel when your band broke our record?" Maybe I was the only person who asked that. "I didn't know that because I was in a foreign country."
JI: This year is [I'm in Love]. We were planning to record that song with our friends.
HISASHI: I was asked to call our friends. However, we are not sociable people without TAKURO. Then I couldn't find a friend who was an artist.
JI: In those days, we took things seriously so I didn't know if it was good or not to call a friend who was not a musician. It's not such a serious problem now, I think. But at the time, we took everything seriously.
TERU: Nobody listed down the names of the people we wanted to call. Then TAKURO said, "Please give the names. Everybody is okay. You guys don't have friends?" Then we listed down the name of the drummer of TAMA. What a level. (Laughs)
HI: What's more, we never met him. He's not really our friend. (Laughs)
TA: I was in charge at the time.
HI: It was Sakuma's birthday, wasn't it?
TA: It was Sakuma's birthday. We made the people who met him for the first time celebrate his birthday.
JI: For them, it was their first time to meet him. (Laughs)
TA: Where is the love in [I'm in Love]? (Laughs)
HI: Many managers came to us.
TE: Many managers came to us. (Laughs)
(aciel's note: TERU says this with emphasis.)
JI: We went to Hawaii with our fan club in this year.
HI: We had a live in Hawaii.
TA: ... It made me feel like a typical (Japanese) entertainer.
TE: We played [SOUL LOVE] and [I'm in Love] for the first time. We can say that the audience saw a very rare concert. After that, we started the pure soul Tour.
JI: It was a long concert tour, I think.
HI: It's like pro-wrestling.
TA: But it was great. I can recount my memory of each of the lives.
JI: Oh really? How about Shimane?
TA: I can remember. (Laughs) But it's true, I was impressed. I'm sure I will remember Shimane when I go home. I remember we were very nervous at the rehearsal because of the TV crew. For example, Mie Bunka Kaikan-I was really nervous because of hide's accident... At Fukuyama, we couldn't go outside because there were more than 500 people outside, surrounding the building. And Tottori...
TE: It was my birthday.
HI: I fought with TAKURO on the sandhill. (Tottori is famouse for its dunes.) TAKURO wanted a CDJ which I was planning to present to Nagai. "Could you give it to me...?" At the time I was vexed because of my broken leg from the Hokkaido live.
JI: It was at the Hokkaido Kouseinenkin Kaikan, in May.
HI: I'm sorry I postponed the live.
TE: Right. I remember that Hisashi walked on the sand with a walking stick.
HI: JIRO looked very happy on the sand. He landed on the sand. I couldn't do that. My silhouette was like R2D2. (Laughs) On the sand, of course.
TA: He was buried in the sand. (Laughs) He said, "I'm going this way. You guys go on and hurry without me."

aciel's note: When HISASHI broke his foot during the concert at Hokkaido Kouseinenkin Kaikan on the 18th, 5 concerts had to be postponed. But HISASHI continued to play with his broken foot anyway. A special chair was made for him to sit on but he also used a stool.
