There are two reports on the shooting of Bulletproof Monk.  The first comes from the Coming Attractions site.  Mike reports seeing filming of the movie at the Yonge/Bloor subway station in Downtown Toronto last Saturday night/Sunday morning (filming took place at 3am).  The scene was for some sort of subway-related action scene.  Another report (this one from the Superhero Hype! site) talks about filming at the Parkwood Estate in Oshawa, Ontario (30 minutes east of Toronto).  The huge mansion on the estate was also used as Professor X's mansion in X-Men and Adam Sandler's house in Billy Madison.

Comics2Film has come across some new character info for Bulletproof Monk.  According to a source close to the production, Czech actor Karel Roden's character, Struker, is "a Nazi who has been hunting down the Monk for many years in order to defeat him and gain ultimate power."  Karel Roden was last seen in 15 Minutes (starring Robert DeNiro & Edward Burns) and will be seen next in Blade 2.  Irish actress Victoria Smurfit's character, Nina, is Sturker's "right hand woman who is as sexy as she is dangerous."  She was last seen in The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio, and will be seen next in About A Boy with Hugh Grant.  Japanese actor Mako appears in the movie as a "theatre owner who befriends young Kar (Seann William Scott)".
