"Maniac" served as a climax for many of the early Karaoke Jam shows. It entailed Vic getting splashed with pitchers of water. It was this water ballet move from the Flashdance movie that helped him get banned from Suck Wongs. On the Gibsons show of Here's To the Ladies, Miss Bonnie gave Vic those infamous legwarmers. What isn't remembered quite so much is that Vic uses the second verse to sing another well-known song over the track, usually to tie in with the show's theme.
