The Concert To Bangladesh

Anderson Nascimento: Disco ao vivo e beneficente. George organizou o concerto para angariar fundos para Bangladesh, país muito pobre da Ásia e que estava vivendo em estado de calamidade pública. O show que fora organizado no Madison Square Garden, por pouco não contou com John Lennon, que desistiu na véspera pois George não queria Yoko Ono na apresentação. O disco traz as músicas que foram tocadas no show, incluindo as participações de George Harrison (é claro), Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar, Leon Russel, Badfingers. George mais uma vez surpreende o mundo colocando à venda mais uma caixa com três discos, e organizando este show que contou com várias estrelas. Os destaques do disco são as participações de George e Bob Dylan que chega a roubar a cena. Musicalmente falando os destaques são a linda interpretação de "My Sweet Lord", a até então inédita "Bangladesh" e o solo de guitarra de Eric Clapton em "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". O destaque negativo do disco é sem dúvida a participação de Ravi Shankar, o que tira a classificação máxima do disco.
