A Mac MP3 encoder that is just too good to not check out.

N2MP3 is an indispensible tool for MP3 fanatics or for new users. It sports the Proteron MPEG encoder for MPEG1 layer III format and has a maximum encoding bitrate of 320 kbps. It also has a simple and easy to use interface. To encode an audio track, all you do is:

  1. Insert an audio CD
  2. Drag the audio track to the encoder icon
  3. And watch as your CD tracks are turned (magically) into MP3 files on your hard drive.
