Klaus Meine
Klaus was in a band called Copernicus before joining the Scorpions in 1970.
Since then he became the Lead Vocalist of the Scorpions. He never left the band,
and he's still the Lead Vocalist. The unmistakable voice of Klaus is the key
of the band success
Rudolf Schenker
Since 1964 he's the Rhythm and sometimes Lead guitarist of the Scorpions. He founded
the band. The unmistakable guitar-sound of Rudolf is the key of the band success
Matthias Jabs
One of the principal members of the Scorpions, Matthias Jabs joined the band 1979,
and since then he's the Lead Guitarist of the Scorpions. When Ulrich Roth left
the band, Matthias was chosen between 140 candidates.
Ralph Rieckermann
Ralph is a conservatory graduated. He has joined the band in 1993 after
the Crazy World tour, and the separation with long-standing bass player:
Francis Buchholz. Ralph is still the bassist of the Scorpions.
James Kottak
James joined the Scorpions in 1996 after the separation with Herman
Rarebell who wanted to form a solo carrier. James Kottak is the current
Scorpions' drummer. He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of a band called
Krunk Sucks.
Herman Rarebell
Herman Rarebell joined the band in 1977, and left in 1995 to form a
solo carrier. he came back shortly in 1999 on the "Eye to Eye" album to
sing some backing vocals. Can't think about Scorpions without thinking
about Herman.
Francis Buchholz
Since 1973 until 1992 Francis was the bass-man of the Scorpions. Nobody
really knows why he left the band. Anyway, everybody knows that he has
served the band for a long time.
Michael Schenker
Michael Schenker was the Lead guitarist of the Scorpions from 1970
until 1973. He recorded "Lonesome Crow" with them, and then he went to
join UFO. He came back to the Scorpions shortly in 1979, and then he left
the band to form "Michael Schenker Group, known as MSG.
Ulrich Roth
Known as Uli Jon Roth, he was the lead guitarist of the Scorpions since
the "Fly To The Rainbow" album in 1974, and he left in 1978 to form a band
called "Electric Sun" and some others solo albums.
Lothar Heimberg
After "Lonesome Crow", the bassist Lothar got married and went in a
different direction.
Wolfgang Dziony
After "Lonesome Crow", the drummer Wolfgang Dziony got married and
went in a different direction.
Jurgen Rosenthal
Jurgen was the drummer of the band on "Fly To The Rainbow". He left
the band and went to the army. After that, he joined ELOY.
Rudy Lenners
Rudy Lenners appeared on "In Trance" and "Virgin Killer" but had to
quit playing drums with the band, because he developed a heart murmur.
He was replaced by Herman Rarebell.
