The Bio of Joel Lee

The BIO of Joel Lee

JOEL LEE is an electric bassist from CT that has performed for many different bands in the Connecticut, NYC, and NY capitol regions. His style varies as he tries to get as much diversity out of the instrument using slapping, two-handed tapping, harmonics, and many other techniques. He can hold down the groove and is a very solid studio musician, in addition to being an accomplished solist on the instrument. Joel also plays upright bass.
In addition, Joel is now exploring a new responsibility of a lead vocalist in his new band, "FRAYD." He has won local kareoke contests and is developing his own style continually.

"A big thank you to featured artist Joel Lee. Displaying a solo electric bass set that was truly inspiring. Using a two handed tapping technique, the astonishingly talented Joel Lee made it sound like there was a full band on stage. The selections ran from moody originals to unique rendidtions of familiar holiday favorites. Thank you Mr. Lee for making your annual holiday visit to KSOMS a great one. "
