Album ** 1/2

This album tends to be forgotten alot. Dr. Music is the only one most people remember. However with BOC still on tour and performing In Thee, and a live acoustic version on Heaven Forbid, many fans are going back to this album.

Dr. Music ***

Good Ol' 70's classic rock. Nice harmonica in the middle. BOC shows how much of a leader in the world of heavy metal they were with this song.

The Great Sun Jester ** 1/2

Nice tune. Very reminiscent of some of the ballads being put out by todays groups.

In Thee ****

Probably the most famous song off this album. It was written by Allen Lanier who is one of the quieter members of BOC. This song is constantly performed live in concert (usually acoustically) even to this day. And in my opinion, it's one of the best ballads written ever.

Mirrors ** 1/2

Pretty decent song. I think they could've done a better job with the chorus.

Moon Crazy ***

There's nothing spectacular about this song. But it's a nice catchy song. And I guess that's what makes it one of my favorites.

The Vigil **

A nice slow powerful song. They tend to overdue the harmonies on the last word of each line, but other than that, it's not too bad. There's a great classical guitar solo towards the end which really shows off Buck's guitar playing abilities.

I Am The Storm ** 1/2

Nice heavy metal sounding song from BOC. Sounds a lot like Metallica. But BOC has been around a lot longer than they have. Actually I personally believe that Metallica just rehashes BOC's sound and sells it as their own, but that's another discussion.

You're Not The One (I Was Looking For) ***

Nice rock ballad. It's a shame that this one doesn't get any air time anymore. It's quite a good song. Sounds a bit like The Cars.

Lonely Teardrops **

Typical 70's disco rock. Many rock bands in the 70's put out songs like this one, where in order to get somewhat of a popular audience, they'll put out a rock song with a disco beat and bass line.
