"Ornamental Horticulture" - 7"
released August 1996

This, our first vinyl release, was recorded in Myke's front room, by Myke's dad on our newly acquired ADAT digital recorder thing. It featured four songs that we felt were our best at this time: Always Rain, My Friends, Hopeless, and I Like it Better. It was a lot cheaper to record, since we did it all ourselves, mixin and all that.  It turned out to be a really good record in my opinion, but I guess not too many of the kids in our area have record players cuz we sure still have plenty.  You can get this one from us, or Mutant Pop Mailorder if ya want, if Timbo still has some left. Songwise, I think this was a big step up from the Demo, even though it was only a little while after, we became a lot tighter as a band and just better at playing in general.
The cover art was inspired by a friend of Myke's, and done by Myke, and the back of it featured a cartoon rendering of us three, done by Myke. The original back, though, featured an old photo taken of us at a club called the Firenze in Philly.  We decided to go with somethin different when we got some free covers from a friend of Myke's dad.  It was a lot better than cutting the tops off of a hundred ziplock bags and folding a hundred pieces of paper!
This included a slightly more readable lyric sheet, but they were printed from the ORIGINAL notebook writings, so still not exactly too great.  Oh well.  $2.60 will get you one sent to your house. We still have plenty.

THE SONGS:  Always Rain, Hopeless, My Friends, I Like it Better

The old discography page had a bit about the old 'Wormbath Comes Alive' tape. I have decided that the release is no longer worthy and all of your memories should be erased... IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH - WAR IS PEACE - FREEDOM IS SLAVERY...
