NEW ALBUM'S ROYALTIES
Indie group Ash will have to give away half the earnings from their new track Candy - because it includes samples of a classic song from Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The band had trouble perfecting the track, which wil appear on their new album, Free All Angels.
But, according to singer Tim Wheeler, the sample gave it the sound they wanted. Around 50 per cent of the royalties will now go to Bacharach and David.
