NEW ALBUM REVIEW
ASH - Free All Angels 8/10
Startlingly excellent - 13 songs, 13 potential singles. A near-faultless
display of pop-rock dynamics, with hooks leaping out from every angle.
Having rediscovered the vitality of the 1977 debut,
only without any of that album's filler, Tim Wheeler
sounds even more exuberant than ever. Every track ranks with Girl From Mars
or A Life Less Ordinary as their finest
songs.
Unless they spectacularly lose it, the new tour should now rank as one of the year's most
undiluted exciting events.
