So it went like this. We shot in early December. My DP backed out and so
did
three other crew members. The lighting package we were supposed to get
also "backed
out" on us. So we trudged along anyway. We shot 12 pages in 4 hours. It
was
exhausting. It was hell on crew and cast. So a week later the rough cut
comes
back and guess what..........it SUCKS! So what do we do????
RESHOOT!!!!
Come back for more info as the film gets completed and hits the festival
circuit.
In the meantime, check out the photos!
So after Christmas we re-shoot. We bring in DP Clifton Bell and he shows
up
and provides some kick ass camera work and much needed help. This shoot
is longer
but one hell of alot smoother. When I watched the dailies I was mucho pleased.
We
all were I believe. So now the true test. Post production. It's being edited
as we
speak and if all goes well the film will be done by Sunday the 18 and in
the mail to
Rutgers by the 19th. We've got our fingers crossed. But alais, another
problem.....
we're not too happy with the name. SO, we've decided to open up a contest
to all
of the citizens of the "global village". Read the newest draft of the script
(it's in
the screenplays section), or if you already
have then E-MAIL US a name suggestion.
Contest is over. The winner was Ronald, because we had no submissions. Oh well.
