Without this we wouldn`t be here, for its immense
capacities it had a leading role in many novels and science fiction movies as it can be a real monster when it decides to work itself. In a short novel by Frederic Brown a professor connects all the computers of all planets in the Universe (96Mlrds!!!) to obtain only one supercomputer, keeper of all knowledge in the universe. At the first question: "Does God exist?", it answers without hesitations: "Yes, now it exists". And before the professor could switch off the computer a lightning from a clear sky kills him.
