Oh yes, one of my favourite childhood hero's. He was the loveliest saggy cat in the world. Just to hear the theme tune from the old television series sends shivers down my spine... brings back so many happy memories... ahhhh Bagpuss...

All the characters from bagpuss were amazing, but although Bagpuss himself was my favourite, Professor Yaffle and the mice come in as joint second!
