Troop / Crew 89
Troop 89 is one of the oldest Boy Scouts of America troops in Lake County.  The troop was first chartered in the mid 1960s, and we have even had a few scouts whose parents were scouts in the troop when they were young.

Crew 89 grew from the Troop when the older boys realized they didn't have the time to devote to the full scouting experience but still enjoyed the activities and the company.

Troop/Crew 89 is chartered by the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Mundelein, Illinois.

The troop/crew enjoys the outdorr experience, and is fortunate to be located in an area close to many wonderful campsites and other natural areas in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Troop/Crew 89 is immediately recognized by the troop teepee, which has been set up at a number of council events as well as on the troop neckerchiefs.
