‘algorhythm’ is Kog Transmissions first release for 1999 and continues Kog’s dedication to investigating and releasing the full spectrum of electronic music. Merging Techno, House, and a little bit of Disco, ‘algorhythm’ brings together a who’s who of New Zealand smooth beat producers.
House music is the most popular of the dance music genres, and is based just as much around the flow between the songs as within the songs. With this in mind, ‘algorhythm’ is fully mixed by Kog Transmissions and our own DJ Phully, sliding, flowing, and just plain grooving from one song to the next, making it as appropriate for parties as it is for home listening.
Joost Langeveld [ex Unitone HiFi, and founder of Trigger X and Subware] acts as executive producer for ‘algorhythm’, and shows why he is not only widely regarded as New Zealand’s top electronic producer but also one of the friendliest guys you’ll meet.
