As originally published in ? ? 1993 Kiwi singer-songwriter Jan Hellriegel, who will perform at New Plymouth's West Point Complex.
This will be the first time she has played in the North Island since her sensational performance at the Mountain Rock Festival in February. It will probably be the last chance to catch Hellriegel live as she will be heading to Australia in June to promote her album, which was released over there this month. Hellriegel will be backed on the tour by substantially the same lineup that made It's My Sin such a success: Tony Lumsden on bass, Mark Bell on lead guitar, Wayne Bell on drums and new guitarist Martin Nightingale. Material for the tour will feature cuts from her album, several new songs and a few big surprises! At the recent New Zealand Music Awards, Hellriegel took out award for the most promising female vocalist and also songwriter of the year, proving she is without a doubt another great Kiwi talent on the rise.
