Evergreen Cemetery
Southgate, Kentucky

Evergreen lies across the Ohio from Cincinnati and a few miles into Kentucky. This hilly, tree-shaded cemetery perhaps is most well-known as the cemetery in the film "Rain Man". No doubt the beauty of this cemetery, established in 1847, drew the film's makers to it. Upon entering, vistors are greeted by a fountian and a large stone chapel. Past the chapel expanses of plain, somewhat adorned, and elaborately statued monuments can be found. Evergreen even has a somewhat hidden little avenue of mausoleums built into a hill.
