Woodland Cemetery
Dayton, Ohio

This cemetery, which was established in 1841, occupies several small wooded hills near the University of Dayton. Woodland boasts not only the large mausoleums and statues, but many more modest grave markers. It is also the resting place of several of Dayton's more famous inhabitants, including the Wright Brothers, and according to Chris Woodward's Haunted Ohio IV, the home to at least two ghosts, one of which is thought to be that of the little boy depicted here with his dog.
