Geraldine Estelle Halliwell was born on August 6, 1972, in a commuter town called Watford near London. Her parents split up when they were young, leaving Geri with her mother. She was the youngest of five children. The family wasn't "very well off" according to her. Like Victoria, the big thing in her life was music. When Geri got older, she rotated between all kinds of jobs, including club dancing in Majorca, being on a game show in Turkey, cleaning, being a barmaid, teaching aerobics, posing as a Page Three girl, and auditioning for parts in productions.
