I fronted Brooklyn-base Deathslayey back in the 80's when we took our Maiden/Queensryche-influenced sound to crowds at Lamour, The Cat Club in Manhattan, and Union Jacks. I later went to LA where I fronted the all-girl metal band Warbride who had a good following and a guitarist who played briefly in Phantom Blue. Years later, i find myslef back east and living in NJ. I currently am hooked up w/ my associate and partner from Metal-Neck Productions w ose an oldschool thrash bassist turned studio producer/visionary. We have been working on many different things including a different take on electronica as we both are from a rock/metal past. Since I like dancing, I don't mind it, but I still love rock a d metal. So of I go with my explorations only to find that a band of young ladies has done what many guys could never get toge her, a band. I spent my formative years, from 1968 to 1983( oops there goes my age) travelling the country with r-n-r bands. Loved every minute of it , too!! Now I have my eldest son struggling to follow down the pathwat of his daddy and I think that it is great. I hope you are successful in your pursuits with the new band.
