EXTRA
I don't know if anybody or anyone for that matter knows
this, but last night while playing Sega Rally (original version)
I found out you can use your Net Link Keyboard to play!
It's kinda cool....here are the commands to play.
X on the keyboard is gas.
Z and C are break.
A, S, and D are to change view.
The arrow keys are to turn left and right.
I dunno, I just thought it was cool. Give it a try and
see how ya do with a keyboard :)

The other day, I informed the upgrade would
be out Monday or Tuesday. I was misinformed and so was everyone
else. It won't be. It should be out sometime this week,
though. Planet Web is hard at work on a cool feature like
I said before and it must be the reason we have not yet
seen this upgrade. Fine with me, I just don't like the fact
that Planet Web is pulling a Sega by telling us something
and doing another. Besides, I'd rather wait for a good
upgrade than have the upgrade now and be disappointed.
I'm sure you all agree....RIGHT? :)
HELP OUT!
There is something I am asking that all Net Linkers do.
It's not a huge favor...All I need (want) you to do is
e-mail Planet Web at bugs@planetweb.com
and ask them that they add copy and paste in one if the
upgrades as a feature.
Some people may not have the slightest clue what this
feature is or how it will benifit but you will find out
if we get it that you can benifit from this ESPECIALLY if
you have a web page. Planet Web states that as a result
of only 10% of Net Linkers requesting for copy and paste,
they may not even bother with it :(
Please vote for copy n paste as a feature. It's not too
much to ask is it?

Well it looks like Planet Web OVER THERE is working
pretty hard eh? A WEEK after the said the upgrade
was supposed to be here, it still isn't out. It's certain
Planet Web is working on the "cool feature" right now
and that is most likely the reason for the delay. My guess
is now Monday we'll see it. If not, it's time to do a little
BOMBING :) (joke) On a brighter note, I worked on my
Net Link release (history) page. Go there by clicking
here. For those who have not e-mailed
Planet Web and ask for copy and paste as a feature, please
read above and do so ASAP! Thank you

Okay once again we have a release date on the next beta
release. It is later today (May 21).
"Barring something drastic, it'll be up tomorrow"
says a Planet Web employee on May 20. I know of one of the features
that is in this upgrade. That is cache ram. Which means
that when you visit a page, and load the images, then
go and view other pages, when ya come back to the
already-loaded page, the images won't have to be reloaded.
Ya followin me? So it pretty much "saves" the images
once fully loaded. I don't know how many or how long
the very first loaded page will last considering there
is a limit. PC's have a limit. I see cache ram up to
254k on PC's. That is standered I believe. I'm sure this
will help but personally, it's not the "best" feature.
It works and so does Planet Web. We should also not expect
to see Real Audio by this cd release. However there still
is a possibility for copy and paste which will be more
useful than Real Audio especially for those that have
a web page. I'll have my review of the next beta if it's
for surly released today by the end of the week at
Net Link World.
Hope there are some cool features and you all are happy with
this one! :p

Sorry all for the delay in news. Let me start this out with
a warning to all Net Linkers. Do not, I repete, DO NOT
ever give out your credit card numbers or any info like
that on the net. It's not secure! You know how ON-TV says
your credit card and address info etc is safe in their
database or whatever? It's not. Not in the least bit.
Yesterday on May 27th, I came across something while in
my On-TV account and without any problems, got into peoples
accounts without a password. I found a few peoples credit
card info, along with their email, address, name, and telephone
numbers! :o Talk about not safe in the least bit!
One of them was a Net Linker "Kelly M Lingstrom".
(kel@concentric.net) I am going to either call, or email
her and tell her to take off her credit card info on that
page before someone finds it and uses it up. Besides this
one, I found about 3 others. Not good ONTV and Sega! >:(
On tv states in their agreement or whatever that none
of this info could be found. It's safe. You lie! I am also
going to call Ontv up and explain what they are doing.
Not good.
No new news as of yet. Check back later please.
