News April 14
Well, I must first apologize for not having any news for a few days....there hasn't been NOTHING floating around and no comments from neither Planet Web nor Sega. So that's my exuse :)
Today, I called up planet Web (again) and I asked when or if the second upgrade is due out this week or early next week (that's about the only thing floating around) and all they had to say was, "this is a the same as last time, that is up to Sega to release any info....I know they are hard at work on the next upgrade, though" -Jim Straus. Well, there ya have it...STILL, Sega will not let Planet Web release any info...I think that just plain sucks. Maybe just a little hint? Also, Sega has been lazy bastards about the games announcement that was supposed to be around last week. I, myself are getting sick and tired of Sega remaining quite about the Net Link stuff, however I think they ARE working hard on the games and maybe even some peripherals. I'll try and get some news tomorrow. I'm just as sick of Sega and/or upset with then just as much as you all are. To e-mail Sega directly with any questions, click here. Ask them anything...maybe have them even get X-band out :)

News April 22
I called up Planet Web today to see what's up on the next upgrade, and fortunetly, I was told the upgrade most likely will be out THIS WEEK!!! And also, I was told that another upgrade will be out around every 2 weeks and when it get's close to the actual cd release, there will be about a another 2 week wait without an upgrade because they have to make the instruction manual etc etc.
Still not sure how they will go about selling the cd version, but it may only be availible by phone. So I guess you might have to have a credit card to order it but who knows!
I also heard the games will be out within a month and I have a secret for the Sega Rally Net Link games; I got this from sTp81....Look closely in the bottle left of the rear view mirror while playing Sega Rally Plus and you may be able to see the initials: "rkh". Rkh is a Planet Web Rep! Maybe Sega and Planet Web are joining on the games. I don't know. I'll try to have another update later today!
