(A proud member of the Soundgarden Webring)
Age: 36 years old
Location:Ok...I live in Temecula CA. About 30 miles north of San Diego.
Occupation:Well, my occupation is Mother, Wife, Maid (only in my house) and collector
of the best damn rock group that ever lived! SOUNDGARDEN!
How You Discovered Soundgarden:Well, it all started when a friend invited my boyfreind and I (now my
husband) to see a band that everyone was talking about at the Whiskey a Go
Go in 1889. That band happened to be SOUNDGARDEN (Can you guess which show
it was?!)If you guessed, the taping of "Louder than Live" then your are
right!(Well, actually the first taping, of two shows) And all I had to do
was hear the first couple of songs and I was hooked! (I also thought that
the *singer* wasen't too bad on the eyes either!!! ;-)
Favourite Album/SongsThat's a tough one...since I love ALL Soundgarden albums...but to pick one,
I'd have to say Badmotorfinger. But with Louder Than Love coming in a close
second. My favorite songs by the guys are: Blind Dogs, Room a Thousand Years
Wide, Searching w/my Good Eye Closed, Slaves & Bulldozers, Loud Love, Burden
In My Hand..just to name a few.
Live Experienceseen them Live in 89' at the first taping of LouderthanLive, Seen them at
Lollapalooza 96', Also in San Diego @ the Fairgrounds 96' when 'You am I'
and 'Reverend Horton Heat' opened for them, and again on the next two nights
in L.A at the Universal Ampitheater (if any of you others where there...and
saw a blonde chick holding up a neon green sign with the words "Fuck" and
"Somms@mit.edu" on it, THAT WAS ME!!!
Oh...and also in Seattle at the OK Hotel in 96' to see Hater play on
Halloween night. (the legendary show where Ben jumped off the stage and beat
the crap out of a heckler..that later turned out to be Daniel House of CZ
Records! OOps!

Any CommentsOver the years, I've injoyed reading all the posts on the list, also meeting
some of you other SG fans and sharing that common interest. Like most of
you....it's a sad thing that Soundgarden are 'no more'...but look what they
have left us, their fans... SO much great music to continue to love/enjoy
for years to come. No more new SG I know....but we have solo ventures to
look forward to. Remember...everyone must choose a path and move on to new
and exciting things and I think that is what the guys have chosen to do at
this time in their careers....so lets stick by them and count our blessings
for what we do have and all they have given us....
