What you do:I go to school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (the birth place of the robot in 2001: A Space Oddesey) where major in pre-med biochemistry.

SG discovery story:My uncle got me into Soundgarden just after Louder than Love came out (I was 11 years old). He saw them when he was visiting Seattle and bought a tape of Louder than Love. I heard him play the album a few times and it I liked it a lot so I bought Badmotorfinger as soon as it came out and, needless to say, I loved it. I listened to it nonstop almost 24 hours a day. Ever since then, Soundgarden has been my favorite band. It was weird when Superunknown came out because all of the sudden, everyone knew about them and they were in almost every magazine and all over MTV.

Favourite Album/songs:My favorite album is Superunknown because every track is amazing (except Half). Picking one favorite Soundgarden song is like trying to pick the day with the nicest whether in Hawaii in a year. However, I would have to say Fell on Black Days is their best song because it is very touching and, unlike many songs nowadays, gets better everytime I hear it.

Other bands you like:I almost like Pearl Jam as much as I like Soundgarden.
