What you do:i work for a systems consulting company. i go to college too, this is my last semester.

SG discovery story:it was 1989 and my favourite bands at the time were cinderella, guns n' roses and bang tango (whatever happened to bang tango?) among others. a friend of mine came from the US and told me about soundgarden. he hadn't heard them but he said his friends up there were raving about them. so when i saw louder than love in a store in some forgotten part of Lima i bought it. i must have been one of the very few down here who knew about the band. i bought the album without having heard a single song. ugly truth's opening guitars are not a very warm welcome to someone not used to that kind of music. at first i didn't get it. it took me about 10 listens to really understand and start to like soundgarden. after that i got hooked to songs like "power trip", "hands all over" and "get on the snake". then came badmotorfinger and soundgarden became my favourite band. nirvana, pearl jam and alice in chains got to me later and i loved them and still do, but soundgarden will always be the best. and ocasionally i listen to my old heavy metal tapes and i still like them a lot. i didn't throw them away like many people did. those bands rock too.

Favourite SG songs/album:favourite album : badmotorfinger. a masterpiece, it has everything.
favourite song : slaves and bulldozers.

Other bands you like:besides soundgarden : the wellwater conspiracy, hater and truly are great. i also like kyuss, monster magnet, mind funk, gruntruck, black sabbath, david bowie, bjork. from south america : fito paez, babasonicos, caifanes, el aire.

Any Comments:i just heard sunshower for the first time and i really like it. hey wellwater conspiracy, come down here! isn't Lima one of the key market points for Declaration of Conformity?
