Horizontal Rule

My name is Shannon, and I'm 25. I am a single mother with a 5 year old boy, and a great guy. I'm working on getting my bachelor's degree (need to get back) and trying to find a better job.

My fascination with Type O Negative dates back to the summer of 1995, when I saw them at a fest in Milwaukee. I had heard of them at that point, but never the actual music. I was an instant fan after that. For a band to captivate the entire audience is a rarity, and they did that. After that, I went on to see them 6 times and met them twice. Once was at a meet and greet for World Coming Down in Norridge, IL, and the second was at the concert the day after...Peter gave me a vase and I had a guy try to fight me for it. It was worth all the effort tho, Pete came out and signed it for me...while Josh was throwing oranges off the bus. Crazy guys....

My friends think I'm obsessed....hmmmm....maybe so. It's not everyday you buy a Playgirl for $70 off eBay, get their logo tattooed on your back, or go to Ozzfest 6 months pregnant so you don't miss out on seeing your favorite band play! *I had to be protected during Pantera; I soo wanted to pit!*

Say what you will about the band; they've been putting out great music for years. Despite the fact that they wait so long in between releases (maybe they don't, but I'm an over anxious fan!) they still rule in my book. For some, it's an obsession with the boys themselves; to others, it's the music. I don't know where I'd be today if they had never released 'October Rust', as it's pure genius. Girls go crazy over Peter! If you've seen his Playgirl spread, you understand! :P They really are a great group of guys personally too.
