I'm here to state that I have no "special purpose." After all, I'm a girl.
I went to school at UCDavis, and graduated in December of 1997. Now, I hold
a shiny new degree in Rhetoric & Communications, with a minor in Textiles & Clothing.
A choice combination, I must say. I wish there were more to say about myself,
my interests are scattered, I like to make things (like lamps, fountains, and cookies), and I like
to paint. I also sew, sing, and can rhyme like Fezzik in
The Princess Bride, which
is one of my favorite movies of all time.
I have a cat that I call Frankenkitty, although her real name
is Triscuit. She got hit by a car a couple of years ago, and her
jaw was crushed. We took her to the vet, where she spent a week in
kitty ICU, before being upgraded to guarded condition. She got plastic surgery
on her jaw when she was at the hospital, but now she has a permanent
smile as a result of the accident. Poor Triskie. This picture shows her
but the smile isn't totally apparent.
Oh yeah, one more thing, my friend Zach
calls me Gertie, so don't be afraid of the word Gertie. EVER!
If what you have read so far hasn't made you violently angry, or made you crack a smile, then obviously I've failed in my mission in life. At least give me a pity laugh. You're more than welcome to breakdance here, I'll even share my piece of linoleum with you, since you only have a worn piece of cardboard.
Did you know there is an Airplane the movie jive site? If you haven't been there, I suggest you bust a move on over there, naturally when you're through here.
Currently I'm 23 years old, I just moved to San Diego to
join the real world.
If you have a job you'd like to offer me, please don't hesitate!
All I ask is that you not let my website disturb you too much. I am quite competent, and am looking for a job in either the textile industry, communications, advertising, or librarianship. I would be happy to provide you with a resume, and letters of recommendation.
MMMMhmmmm...Don't pat me on the head. I may have a seizure or
something equally unappealing. You know the rules, don't touch me.
What makes me tick:
