I´m still learning, so please forgive me if I do some
mistakes. I wanted that this site would be an R.E.M. site but there
are so many great sites in the Net that I decided this one is an R.E.M. and Alexandra
site. Maybe it´s is not that interesting like many other sites but I hope you will like

Something about me
My name is Alexandra and I´m 27 years old. I was born and still live in
Köln (Cologne) which is a pretty nice city in Germany. I work in a Recordstore and I
really like my job. Apart from R.E.M. I like Fleetwood Mac, Indigo Girls, Dar Williams,
Depeche Mode, Loreena McKennitt, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Live and much much more..........
For more than seven years now I love
R.E.M.
the greatest band in the world.
I start listen to them when OUT OF TIME came out (like most of us....) I
bought all their older Records and start to collect every single piece of them which I
could find and I still do.
My favorite R.E.M. Album is : LIFES RICH PEAGANT and my favorite songs
are: LEAVE, I REMEMBER CALIFORNIA, THESE DAYS, TEXARKANA and NIGHTSWIMMING. But I think
all (most of all) R.E.M. songs are great, I mean that´s why it is my/ your favorite
group.
RIGHT ? RIGHT !
I saw them three times during the MONSTER-Tour in :
Hamburg, Germany July 8th 1995
Düren (Köln),Germany July 9th 1995
Berlin, Germany August 1st 1995
My favorite show was the Berlin one, sure all three shows where excellent
but the Berlin was something special. They guys came "dancing" on stage and they
looked very happy, you saw it will a good show. I took alot of Pictures at all these shows
and I will put them all at this site but I need a little bit more time to do it As you can see my favorite R.E.M. band-member is MIKE MILLS and I had the luck
to met him at the Album Premiere Party in Hamburg Germany, September 4th 1996.
As you can see I took a few pictures and one ~ which I really really like ~ you´ll see
here.

Sometimes I´m wondering and ask myself: "Why I am an R.E.M. fan
?" Sure, they do great music, they write the greatest songs in the Universe, they are
great guys, each of them has their own strong personality etc. But I´m sure everybody in
the world says that about their favorite band. So why is it so special to be an R.E.M. fan
?
I think R.E.M. fans made it special, because each of them are something
special. Since I am an R.E.M. fan I met a lot of great people and a few of them are my
"best" friends. I don´t want name them all, they know it !!! But i like to
name: Birgit, Jennifer, Will, Karsten and Jörg ~ you´re the greatest friends in the
world ! I hope we will be friends forever !!!
