Tablet Of Ages Being a Vampyre no matter how you spell it is about belief. Vampyres are portrayed in many diferent ways. In movies, they are portrayed brutal and bloody, at other times in books as romantic monsters with an eternal lust for blood. Vampyres are even joked about and made up as comedians. No matter how you see them, it all comes down to one fact, you either believe or you don't. No one can tell you whether you are or aren't a Vampyre, that is something you have to decide for yourself.

For me,  some say it is for attention, if thats what it is, I sure am not getting any. I certainly don't do it because I am trying to fit in with everyone else. I don't do it to rebel against my parents, we get along very well. You can ask yourself these things, but in the end its still the same, you believe or you don't.

I choose the spelling of the word Vampyre this way because it just appeals to me. I don't think people who spell it any other way are wrong, they merly have a diferent spelling of the word. They have own operions and that is all that matters, others have there own perception and that is their choice. I don't dispute it, they have the right to there openion and I have the right to mine.

I personally don't drink blood, I don't think its safe, not with all those blood transmitted diseases out there. However it is up to the individual to decide where they are comfortable going as a Vampyre. For me it is a lifestyle and my belief, and when you truly believe noone can take that from you.

I think it is also important to repect others for there beliefs and not to say oh you have to believe in Vampyres, for if you truly believe there openion shouldn't matter to you. I find that for some being a Vampyre is nothing more than a game. Thats okay too, however for those that this is so, please let it stay in your books or the board, or even the cards. I am in no way saying that you are wrong too play, just be careful play safe.

Finally for those of you who may have some doubts. Remember that just because you are a Vampyre doesn't make things all better, or give you answers to all of lifes problems, and it doesn't make it all easier. If it does great, but I have learned that in life there are ups and downs to all life. Vampyres are not excempt from that fact. You just have to live it, and accept the challenges you are given, and let them make you stonger. Be well.................and remember, its belief. Back the way you came
