The Superjesus are one of the most talented bands to make it out of the Australian underground scene. Their unique sound, with the lovely Sarah McLeod's unique vocals giving the band a friendly and accessible edge, floatingly effortlessley over the extremely thick sound produced by Sarah, Chris Tennet (co-guitarist and write), and Stuart Rudd (bass), and the tight rythm's of Paul Berryman (drums), combines to form unique blend of rock.
The Adelaide four-peice originally started out as a cover band, "Hell's Kitchen", however they rested upon The Superjesus in 1994 and not long after released their first E.P, "Eight Step Rail". Following this release were to amazing singles, "Down Again" and "Saturation", that captured audiences all over Australia and world - wide.
Their current album, "Sumo", is the masterpeice of the band, containing all the best tracks the band have put together, and combining heavy, "Saturation", riffs with slower, "Now & Then", to put forward an album that is worthy of, in my opinion, 5.5/5 stars. Go out and buy this album...EVERYONE!
Alright, on to business. I have noticed that there are a few pages dedicated to this amazing band, however, I still felt like I should introduce my own contribution to this amazing band, so here it is...
