Yesterday was my pal Frank's birthday. From the sounds of it he had a lovely day and I'm glad.
It's been a very ...relaxed weekend. Yesterday I pretty much slept all day and then partied at night. Hunter Valentine was playing at the El-Mo; at first I didn't want to go but my friends convinced me to go. So I went for the company, and maybe a little bit for the beer. My friends sure are pretty silly drunks. Good times. Jake Gold and Bob Ezrin were in the crowd too. Kiyomi mentioned something about two guys from Elton Johns' production crew being there too, but they were scoping out a different band.
The weather is sapping my energy. I feel like going back to bed. I'm supposed to have a date with Demetrius tonight - some sushi dinner - but surprise surprise, I haven't heard from him yet. If it doesn't happen I would secretly not be disappointed because (I am a big loser and) the Survivor finale is on tonight.
I'm getting very excited for the Christmas holidays. I love when the house is all fancied up and my mommy cooks good food and I hang out with my family and see friends. Happy times. My Toronto cousins will all be in town too with their little bitty babies. I love the babies.
We have a new girl starting at the office on Monday. My sister knows her. She is a U of O Faculty of Commerce grad. Unfortunately her experience with my sister is probably not one of the happiest and I'm wondering if I should even bring it up. Geh.
