Yeah for some reason my apartment likes to be between 6-9 degrees warmer than it actually is outside, so even though it's only 20 outside it's bloody hot in here. So I can't imagine what it will be like when it's 35 degrees outside...I predict an expensive summer.
School is still insanely busy but this past week has been okay. We're on to round 3 of the marketing olympics now. The teacher was surprisingly easy on my intellectually handicapped team, causing them to become increasingly confident and cocky. This is a bad thing. Sorry team, but bottom line - you're all still pretty dumb.
The coffeehouse took place Thursday night. Not a ton of people showed up, and we lost half the money we spent, but it was still a great time and the music was really good. For the most part. There's an adorable little frenchman in our level, who stands at 5'2"-ish and wears short little pants. Not quite capris, but they're short pants. I've never heard him sing until that night, but ahh....he warbles like an angel. And by angel I mean little girl. It was hilarious. I was serving a drink at the time and I had to put it down because I was laughing too hard I was shaking. Don't worry, it was the silent kind of laugh. I did not insult ze French. I did, however, give numerous "honhonhon!"s during the applause after his set. Some random blues guy also showed up. Raaandom.
I also bombed an exam this week.
Frank and I celebrated 6 months together over MSN.
I saw Sin City last night. Pretty wicked cool movie. It's supposed to be a series so I will definitely check out the next ones. Fun trivia: Devon Aoki's character, Miho, used the same samurai swords that Uma Thurman used in Kill Bill. I think this is due to Tarantino's involvement in the film. He guest directed a scene, and was compensated $1. Good times were had trying not to catch ebola from the guy in the theatre horking up the entire mucal content of his body, and also at the Golden Griddle afterwards where Wayne tried his best to give the cranky-as-hell waitress a hard time.
Ok now my apartment is too cold. I'm off for brunch now.
