Yeah so it's been almost a month since I last posted, but I'm not here to entertain you so...lick my balls! Yes that's right. Here's my excuse: lots of projects and a few exams mid-February, then tons of exams (9) and final projects (3) in one week, then Frank visited, then I was busy being exhausted by Canadian Music Week. I think I failed one of my final exams, serirousry. It was really ugly. Goddamn Urban Music and stupid teacher! CMW was pretty great. I met a few people, listened to lots of important people yap, and went to some good shows. I made some more fans for Lindy, he ought to thank me for building his fanbase. Anytime I've brought people to see him play, they come out loving him and they buy his albums.
Frank's visit was tons of fun and pretty eventful, if you haven't already heard. We went to my end of the semester party at school, had a memorable (?) Oscar night, visited the ROM, made a trip to the Krispy Kreme in Scarborough (oh cinnamon doughnuts, you were so delicious), and did some shopping/wandering. In the Sears in the Eaton Centre, a crazy man bumped into me (intentionally, and a little more violently than necessary) and tried to pick a fight with Frank. It was crazy. He kept yelling "Don't look at me!", like black folks do in movies/TV shows. Crazy. Frank was a gentleman for sticking up for me, and for also avoiding a fight. The guy seemed crazy enough to be carrying a weapon and Frank didn't particularly want to get knifed In the Sears. It was so bizarre.
So my cousin Elaine and her husband Vince have returned to Toronto from China after picking up their newly adopted son, Jonathan! Oh yeah, and my cousin Anita gave birth to a tiny Ayesha on February 6. So now there are 4 babies in the family! Meaghan has also been accepted into the Amsterdam School of Business on foreign exchange for one term, beginning in the winter term of the next school year. Congratulations Meehan, make sure the hash you buy is safe. It may smell and look like poo, but I think that's normal.
Oh yeah, and I'm in Ottawa now. The term is done. I'm thinking of going to Montreal March 17/18 ish until the 20th. I'll have to look into transportation first.
