It's been an interesting weekend. My sister and I carted my mom off to the airport on Friday for a business trip. (By the way, I may not have mentioned this already but my dad has gone to Wales for two months to look after his parents.) This means all sorts of partying was had over the weekend. My sister threw a potluck/guitar jamming/drunkfest last night. Fortunately I was gone for most of it, partying with board games and other people at Matt Greenberg's place, then partying with Robots at the AMC, then partying with Led Zeppelin in my basement.
I also bought a new digital camera on Friday. My family kind of wanted to keep the one I've had all this time, so I went out and got one for myself, thanks to graduation money from my parents and my godmother. Is the G in godmother supposed to be capitalized? I have no idea. So I got another Nikon Coolpix. But this one is a 4 megapixel model. It was on sale, I couldn't help it.
Blast from the past update: Saw Rob Kent at the grocery store yesterday. He looks exactly the same. I assume the hussy he was with is his girlfriend. Her name is Claire, and she looks artsy I guess. He's in his first year of mechanical engineering at Carleton now. Seeing him was pretty unexpected. He didn't recognize Frank either, who was with my sister and I, until I mentioned his name.
What to make for dinner? Ew, and why is my sister saving a used Swiffer sheet on her desk? It's filthy. Just like her.
