That's not really something people say, is it? Well, to Matthew - Happy November 11th. Same goes to Sara.
So I've been "on the job" for a week now. Handed in my first invoice yesterday. I can't wait to see the fruits of that labour. Ha. Apart from Monday and Tuesday it's been a bit boring. I think they are not asking me to do anything because they think I am bogged down by the NEW JOB. But I'm not. I like the automatic stapler though.
School is done. DONE done. Everything. Done! Our major project - presenting a business plan to a panel of "industry experts" - went way better than it should have. We left it til the last minute, obviously, and only half the team (ie. myself and Kara) was left to do it all in one day. She looked like she was going to cry a couple times. She never gets stressed out...and she was gonna lose it that day. Anyway, I'm really happy with the way it went.
Two nights ago was our Confidential Records show. That was a lot of fun. I think considering that we didn't poster or advertise at all in the city we did quite fantastically. We had probably a little under 200 people come. Not very many people bought the CD...during the show I realized we totally missed the point. We didn't ask the bands to hype the CD or the whole "Confidential Records" concept. Ha. Oh well. I had fun and people bought me beers so I don't care. Thanks so much to Ali and Adam for coming out to support me, and for the great grad present! Ali has skillz.
Ok now it's Saturday the 12th. My daddy is here visiting. And I went to dinner with Sara and Neal last night. He's such a big boy now. Like, an adult. I remember when he was THIS tall (as tall as those letters) and hugged me when I went to Sara's house to play under the dining room table. Sorry again I could not come support This Crooked Mile; I was asleep by 10 pm. Sleepin like a baby.
Waa I can't believe we're almost at December. Waaa that means 1 year with Frank. WHOA.
Ok now it's Sunday the 13th. I'm going to post this journal.
