Work is kind of boring lately. Too much free time. It doesn't help that I'm tired either. Last night I went to Brunswick House with Courtney and Amanda to see the Sketchersons. It's a sketch comedy show similar to Saturday Night Live. It is called...Sunday Night Live. Some of it was quite bad but I got a good number of belly laughs too. Why do female comics have to be mostly annoying? Maybe I haven't been exposed to the good ones. I may go back again someday, especially when they make their start time earlier. It's a worknight for gosh sakes!
I had a good weekend. Rob was in town at his Nerd Conference and Meaghan came to visit so I could see her one last time before she leaves for Amsterdam..sniff. She leaves in a week! Less than a week! How exciting. Anyway, Rob printed out some resumes on cat paper for recruiters. I partied heartily with Harris pals Friday night. Our registrar was there and stole Stacey's digital camera. He disappeared into the men's washroom with it. Not to rub it in Stace, but considering he took a photo of himself washing his hands it does mean he touched your camera before washing them. Oh lordy.
Saturday morning my sis and I woke up early so we could join my cousins for lunch in Courtice (near Oshawa/Whitby). We played with babies and ate well. Gad I want a baby. A cute one. When we got home I napped and then we watched TV and a movie for the rest of the night. She left just before noon on Sunday. Then I went to the Eaton Centre and spent all my birthday and Christmas money from last year. I did it in an hour. I am very efficient in spending money. I have bought a lot of clothes in the last 2 months. I love clothes. I am such a girl. Zara had a big sale but it seems the only sizes left were large and x-large, of which I am neither. Shame. It would be totally worth it to be either tiny or really big so you can get the leftover sizes during sales.
I'm thinking of going to Ottawa in two weeks for Chinese New Year (January 29). Let's see if I can get a ride...
